I am a registered social worker, psychotherapist, and EMDR-trained therapist working virtually across Western Canada, in English and in French.

My role is to offer a space where you can navigate grief, identity, and life's transitions with greater self-awareness and support. Together, we make room for the full human experience, tending to what feels most present while fostering a deeper connection with yourself and the life you are living. This work is about supporting the chapter you want to be living in, so you can meet yourself where you are especially during seasons of loss, change, uncertainty, or transformation. I bring a decade of personal and professional experience into the room, along with warmth, honesty, and yes, humor. I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself, which is why I prioritize connection before intervention. Always. Through an integrative and holistic approach, I offer you space to explore who you are, what you're moving through, and what matters most right now, working with your nervous system, mind, body, and soul.

Hello there, I'm Jaqueline

Or you can call me Jac, if that comes easier

I am a bilingual (English/French) Registered Social Worker, integrative, EMDR-trained psychotherapist, working virtually across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. I specialize in identity exploration, life transitions, and neurodiversity — including the parents holding it all together for a child on the spectrum, which I know from the inside.

People often come to me feeling untethered or overwhelmed. My approach supports deeper self-connection, helping you recognize your needs and respond to yourself with care and compassion. My work is to help you come back to yourself, to hear your own voice again, know what you need, and treat yourself with the same care you give everyone else.

I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself, so connection comes before any intervention. I weave talk and somatic therapy together, working with your nervous system, mind, body, and soul. I offer you the space to explore who you are, what you're going through, and what matters most right now.

A few things about me

Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we'll ever do.

— Brené Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection

Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we'll ever do.

From a young age, I felt a calling to become a therapist. My road just took me a little longer to get here, and I am glad it did. I bring a life fully lived into this work, not just my training.

I believe that while we each have our own innate ability to heal, we also need one another's support. Sometimes that support comes in the form of a therapeutic space where we can finally meet ourselves.

That fully lived life includes my own experiences with identity loss and reinvention, neurodivergence (both my own and through parenting), and major life transitions. I know what it is to be the capable one who looks like she has it handled while quietly losing track of who she is, and I know the way back. That experience informs an affirming approach that honours the diverse identities and stories of the people I work with.

This is your life. What do you desire for it, and how will you live it?

I am a die-hard Jets fan (Go Jets Go), a CrossFit and yoga enthusiast, a lover of good food and good people, and someone who will absolutely stay up too late enjoying the things I love without apology.

Off the clock.

While my work is deeply meaningful to me, I also value my personal time.

I am a die-hard Jets fan (Go Jets Go), a CrossFit and yoga enthusiast, a lover of good food and good people, and someone who will absolutely stay up too late enjoying the things I love without apology. I believe we each have an innate ability to heal, and I also believe we were never meant to do it alone. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is let someone else hold some of the weight. Life is too short, and too hard to take it all so seriously.

Off the clock.

You are already enough. You just need the space to remember it.

Virtual and its benefits

You are the one who holds it all together, and your days are already full—work, family, the people who lean on you, a to-do list that never ends. The last thing you need is a 45-minute commute to a therapy appointment on top of it. Virtual therapy offers the same depth of care as a traditional in-office session, with far less hassle.

  • No babysitter? No problem.

  • No 25-minute drive, no traffic, no parallel parking.

  • No waiting rooms. Heck — you can even join in your pj's, from the comfort of your own home, your office during your lunch break... or maybe even your car during your daily commute.

  • Long-term success through higher engagement because appointments fit your schedule (on vacation but still want to meet? Let’s do it!).

Your story doesn't need a waiting room. It just needs space.

This book changed how I understand trauma, and it has opened up the way I work in ways I didn't expect. Many clients come to me carrying things they cannot always name.

  • They stop breathing without realizing it when they are overwhelmed.

  • They feel tightness in their chest before a hard conversation.

  • They find themselves constantly overthinking, people-pleasing, or swinging between irritability and complete shutdown.

  • Their body feels restless even when life slows down.

  • They replay conversations for hours, struggle to trust people, or carry a heaviness that just doesn't seem to go away.

If you're experiencing this too, it could be your body keeping score.

Together we work with your nervous system, your body's signals, and your story, all at the same time. Because when the body and mind work together, we finally feel safe enough to enjoy the fullness of our lives.

Every person who walks through my door brings a different story. Here are the chapters I know best.
